Almost Gone, January 2021. Original is 20x20in.

Featuring the Sierra Del Carmen mountain range, "Almost Gone" shows the looming shadow of the Chisos Basin rising higher and higher, marking the sun's descent on the horizon and the landscape's slow retreat in darkness.

As you head towards Boquillas, the fields of grass and sotol give away to ocotillos, cactus and creosote, it feels like whole world starts to fall away.
And when you return to the real world at the end of the day, re-entering civilization covered in Rio mud and sweat, you can look back and see the Sierra Del Carmens ablaze with the last rays of light as the shadow of the Chisos creeps higher and higher... it’s like the last piece of this magical place is just holding on to sun for as long as it can, not ready to let go.

Fine art giclee reproduction. The reproduction image intentionally captures the original raised texture of the canvas, but is actually printed on velvety smooth matte paper. The effect is a more original-looking print. Features only archival inks on 100% cotton rag archival Moab white paper.

  • Although some prints look great even without a frame, if you wish to make sure that your print stays in the best condition for as long as possible, framing is recommended.

The print should be kept at room temperature, and out of direct sunlight.

To store your print for an extended period of time, for example in a drawer, wrapping the print in acid-free paper will prevent yellowing.
